Ann Coulter: Not Just Jumped the Shark but Off the Deep End

February 4th, 2008

Has Ann Coulter Finally Jumped The Shark?

She did for me last year at CPAC, of course, when she derided John Edwards as a “faggot”. At the time, a number of conservative bloggers wrote that she had embarrassed the movement and owed Edwards an apology, which she refused to offer.

Captain’s Quarters

I can understand why conservative voters like Ann Coulter, she is like a rabid badger that never stops clawing at the democratic opposition but I’m glad some are beginning to realize that she is down right nasty and pretty much a horrible human being. I guess my question to the conservative community is why did it take this long for you to realize how terrible she was and continues to be? This is not a new face that she is showing, in fact, she has always been this bad and she only gets PR because of her Shock Value to the republican cause. I would consider her like the Howard Stern of conservative politics: The opinions she voices get a lot of attention but when you get right down to it, there is not a whole lot of substance or intellectual content in them.

All in all, I applaud the realization that Ann Coulter is a nut by conservative America and maybe someday the world will be a better place as more start to realize this.

I’ve noticed that Ann Coulter’s books are tough to read — tough like leather
